System Requirements:  
  • Runs on Windows 98, NT, Me, 2000, and XP
  • The 3D viewer feature requires Windows 2000 or XP
  • Requires Pentium processor or better
  • Requires 600 x 800 display, or better
  • Clock speeds down to 100MHz are fine, due to the efficient "QuickChart" display algorithms
  • 32 MBytes of RAM and 200 MBytes of hard disk space recommended
GPS Requirements:
 
  • Any NMEA 0183 compatible positioning device can be used for plotting real-time position
  • SiRF binary protocol is also supported
  • Garmin or Magellan GPS required for route/waypoint programming and track-log upload
Pocket PC Device Requirements (optional):
  • Microsoft "Pocket PC" or "Windows Mobile" operating system (2000, 2002 or 2003)
  • ActiveSync connection to host PC
  • Requires 4Mbytes free RAM to run; remaining memory can be used for storage
  • Storage card recommended for map storage (approx 4 MBytes/chart)
